THIS is one of our favorite events of the year!!
Join us for a dark and spooky night of dirt, shenanigans, costumes, food, prizes and then hang out! Bring the whole family out to this one! We are again partnering up with Trips for Kids and $5 from every adult sale will be donated to them to continue serving our local youth!
We are excited to be returning to the Dry Creek Preserve, an old rock quarry which is now a recreational preserve. The trails are very well maintained and will be a great spectator friendly location as well! We will be donating $5 from each adult ticket to the preserve as well as thanks and to help with it's upkeep.
The route will be dirt and gravel so a Mountain bike, Gravel, or CX bike is recommended, no slick tires. Some sort of flat protection and a spare tube is a must as there can be thorns. A Helmet is always required on all of our rides! This is a NIGHT ride so you will need a light with a minimum of 400+ lumens which can last at least 3 hours as well as a taillight. Bring water and wear layers as it may get cool in the evening.
The ride will offer a fun and casual 1 mile dirt road loop which is perfect for young or newer riders to do laps on. For the more adventerous rider there are multiple single track loops to explore which can extend the loop to 3.5 miles. Riders are encouraged to ride as many laps as they like. Towards the end of the evening we will be clearing the course and will step our game up with a few races!
Come and ride dressed up in a costume! There will be a big prize to our favorite costume!
After the ride we will be providing the food for a delicious BBQ which Trips for kids will be grilling for us! $5 will be donated from each adult ticket will be donated to Trips for Kids but please consider additional support. They use this money to put on bike events to teach and educate children in the joy and safety of riding bikes. They do great work for our local youth and we greatly appreciate their investment in our future cycling community.
While there is no age limit all minors must be accompanied by their guardian. All riders should be comfortable riding in dirt.
