RideCA Carrizo Plain Gravel Adventure

Join us as we re-visit this beautiful area on another epic gravel adventure! The Carrizo Plain is a large valley, frozen in time and known to few. It covers 250,000 acres of hills and grasslands which are prime for gravel adventures.

• The Route
  • The ride will be a large gravel loop ranging between 60-70 miles with approx 2,500-3,000 ft elevation gain.
  • The terrain is decently mild with rolling hills however there are a couple difficult but short climbs.
  • The route itself is primarily a hardpacked gravel road however expect areas of loose dirt/sand/gravel as well as the possibility of some short but non technical single track.

Some of us will be camping the night before and likely the night after and you are welcome to join us!

Included with your registration comes the following.

• Planned out GPS route which has been scouted out ahead of time.
• SAG Support.
  • Mechanical support.
    • 2 mechanics will be on the trip with tools for any mechanical emergencies.
  • SAG Vehicle
    • We will have a support vehicle that will follow along for the whole ride to provide the following services.
      • Extra water
      • First Aid
      • The ability to pickup any riders who may be tired or need a ride. (can even shuttle you to the top of the hill)
      • We will have a bin with zip lock bags so you can shed layers (or bring extra) and keep in the vehicle.
      • We will have an iced chest in the vehicle you can put your lunch in if you need something kept cold.
      • We will provide some extra snacks, nutrition, and hydration powder.
• Post Ride
  • We will have refreshments at the end of the ride.
